Easy to find from the bus stop coming from Cagliari, Hotel Marin was a great base for a 5 day stay in Pula. Very nicely decorated - love the bright colours - and clean, friendly and helpful reception staff and nice breakfasts. Good air conditioning, as it was still quite warm in mid September. Good value and would certainly recommend it. Short walk into the middle of the town for eateries and all the rest. Nice sitting out area at the back of the hotel. Easy to walk to the historic site and beaches at Nora and the bus stop to go to the beaches at Chia is close too.

Room tip: Rooms at the back have balconies

The hotel is located near the centre of Pula, a five minute walk. The room was spacious and comfortable. Every room has either a little terrace or a balcony. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was very good, unfortunately it was served in the basement. We prefer to have breakfast on a terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are planning to go to the beach, Tuerredda is a must visit, it is ca. 30 minutes by car.

Actually if i would have to evaluate the hotel based only on the staff and its way of treating people and their problems i would give it 5 points. However a hotel must have much more. Anyway the hotel is very close to the city center, has WiFi for free and parking places. Breakfast was not bad at all, but not sure if bad luck or normal we got a room just in front of the reception and it was pretty noisy. The cleaning staff started with their job at 7 a.m and people were moving in and out all the time so there was no chance to sleep after 7, latest 7:30. On the other hand as i said the people at the reception were some if the most helpful i have ever met.
So at the end we would recommend the facility, which is not bad for its 3 stars and please ask for a room at the back or on the second floor.

Have stayed many different hotels in Italy for the past 3 weeks and This is the best in terms of hotel room and service. Room was spacious for italy standard and Elizabeth and other staff were helpful and courteous.room facilities were satisfying and breakfast was good(if only eggs provided it will be great). I was expecting a motel standard type of
Rooms from the appearance of the hotel when arrive but was surprised. It's still look new since 2018. Wifi good.recommended !

Room tip: Back rooms have balcony and family room is huge!

We stayed here for three nights in September. Lovely room, very handy location and the staff here were so very helpful with recommendations and bus timetables in fact they answered all our endless questions. In particular they went the extra mile for us. My mum rang Elena and arranged a bottle of sparkly for us on our arrival - it was a lovely surprise and organised so well. Highly recommended place to stay and Pula is a great little town.

Room tip: upstairs rooms have lovely views of the mountains
