Beware, this hotel is in a run down industrial area. The pool advertised is not part of the hotel and you will get charged to use it. We stayed fir only 6 of the 10 days we were in Naples, we had to get away from it, there was 3 days where the hotel had no beer, and it gave the impression it was being run down, the area seems unkept, in fact dirty, the streets littered with rubbish, not advised to walk about at night, a car is essential if using this hotel. The room was fine and the breakfast adequate. Overall extremely disappointing, to be avoided.

We had difficulty finding this place in the dark after a long drive. The proprietor at the front desk was an absolute gem and he kept the restaurant open for us after we settled in to very spacious clean rooms. Our evening dinner was fabulous! Nice central location to nearby aytractions!

This hotel misleads its guests right from the start. It advertises itself as have two pools. This simply is not true. The pool which is within sight and only a short walk from the hotel is a public pool and costs 8 Euros per day to use, 12 Euros on a Sunday. The gates that would allow access to the pool for guests of the hotel are firmly locked. If you, like me, were imagining a quick dip before breakfast, or a quite day reading a book beside the hotel's pool, think again. Additionally, there is no restaurant - although eventually I found one fairly close by. The best thing to do at the hotel is telephone for pizza delivery. There is no bar, although bottles of wine were found and sold relatively cheaply. The pool problem seems to me to be the biggest draw back. When open, the pool is noisy and very busy. Bear in mind also, if you go to this hotel, you will need 20 Euros for a taxi to Pozzuoli, or you will need to wait for a bus, and then a train. This is not too difficult if you are familiar with the Italian way of doing buses and trains. Ideally, you need a car. The staff were great - very friendly - but the facilities were dreadful. The gym seemed to be out of bounds as well. Breakfast was the worst I have ever had.

Room tip: Ask for a room at the back, with interesting views - it is the best feature of the hotel and the only thing to recommend it.

We've just come back from our stop in this hotel in Naples. The surrounding area is so run down and the traffic is scary! A taxi from the airport to the hotel was 40 euros in the later evening. The hotel is clean and friendly. However unless you are willing to spend alot of time traveling to other places there is very little to do. Buses (502 or c2) do run from the end of the road but you need to have bought tickets from the local shop first. Breakfast was sparce and an evening meal only offered 1 or 2 of the nights we stayed. The rest of the time you have to go out to eat. When the food was avalible it was very good.
The hotel does have a pool but we could not use it due to the Ph and chlorine tests needing doing. Not impressed as the temp was 26 -30©
The smell from the sulphfantara is really bad in the hotel when there is no wind or the wind blows the wrong way.
We would not stay in Naples ever again. The streets are full of rubbish and grafiti. Poverty is rife and there are many beggers.

We stayed here after our booking at another hotel fell through. The hotel is clearly well past its heyday, and as other reviewers have said, the surroundings are rather unpromising. However, we were offered a very good room rate when we just turned up on the offchance, and they were even offering dinner that night which was extremely good value and very good quality. The mussels were some of the best I've ever had. The rooms are certainly dated but have everything you would normally need, including wifi. I would say it was extremely good value if you can overlook the ugly surroundings. There are some fascinating places to visit in the area: don't miss the Roman amphitheatre at Pozzuoli.
