We loved our stay at Hotel Punta Regina. The staff were extremely professional, welcoming and friendly. The breakfast selection was excellent and the view from the rooftop breakfast and pool area is breathtaking. Location is great, but be prepared to walk up and down hills! Would not hesitate in recommending this establishment. We will definitely be back!

The hotel stay was perfect in every way. The room was lovely, with a great view: always cleaned immaculately. The hotel was a good walking distance to everything. But what made the stay better were the staff. Francesca was so helpful: making dinner reservations on our behalf, booking a boat trip as well as organising taxi transfers to and from the airport- all this before we even arrived. A special mention also goes to Manuela and Giussepina who were also very friendly and helpful. Could not recommend this hotel enough!

I'm so happy that we chose Punta Regina for our stay in Positano. We stayed here for five nights on our honeymoon and it was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious and clean with views to die for. We stayed in a room on the third floor and I definitely recommend doing that if you can because the view will be most unobstructed there. On lower floors you will be closer to the rooftops on the buildings across the street. Breakfast is included and served every morning on the 4th floor by the pool. It was great every day with fresh juices, pastries and hot items.
What I was perhaps most impressed by though is the service! Francesca and the rest of the ladies at the front desk were absolutely phenomenal. They always greeted us with smiles and asked about our days. They had great recommendations, made dinner reservations for us, explained how the buses and ferries worked, helped us send our laundry out and even helped us find medicine among other things. We were so grateful for their help!

Room tip: Best views on the third floor

Had a pleasure of staying here for 6 days following 2 days in London and 2 in Rome. We were a large group with a mix of adults, children (age 7 to 15) as well three seniors (one that required the use of a rolling walker) so we had a lot of variables to consider when booking a place. The Punta Regina was the perfect choice! It was centrally located in Positano, had roof top patio where the included breakfast was served every morning. The pool is also located here so we spent quite a bit of time up here! Our room (room 22) had a large balcony and jacuzzi which we used 3 times as the pool closes early (6:30 pm) every night. The street access had about 15 steps up to the main lobby but my father could access the hotel through a separate door for direct acces to the elevator (which accessed all floors) so this was a big factor. Francesca was a huge help in planning things for our group (transportation from Rome/to airport, excursions, private cooking class and even chartering a boat to Capri). Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this for everyone. Thank you to everyone at the Punta Regina for the memories!

Only short falls:
-temperature in the room is hard to maintain due to odd controls (my daughter would wake up cold in the morning or hot)
-our sink would clog easily and take some time to drain

Room tip: We had five rooms in our group and ours was the only one with a jacuzzi in the balcony (camera 22). Others had large bathrooms but small balconies. Ask for details about each room so you can get the amenities that align with what you are looking for

We LOVED our time at the Albergo Punta Regina. We stayed the first night in a Deluxe room with a balcony and then upgraded to a Suite with a balcony for the next 2 nights. Both rooms were just incredible and took our breath away. Francesca is the cutest and seriously the most helpful staff member I have ever encountered at a hotel. Manuela was also incredibly sweet and helpful. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the Main Beach, but it's so beautiful, we really didn't mind all of the walking. We walked to and from the beach/main section of town multiple times a day and didn't once mind the distance. The hotel has a great upper deck/shared space which makes for a lovely spot for breakfast each morning. We loved it here and never wanted to leave!! We will definitely be returning!
