The hotel as a whole has a spectacular view across the town towards the mountains. Unfortunately not all the rooms do - ours had a view of the road. The noise of a dog walking on the floor above our room was also very loud - other guests have also complained about noise. Request for a quiet room resulted in a ground floor room by the road, directly above the restaurant, next to the stairs to the bar. The room was very clean and modern, but a little cramped (triple room).
Breakfast is very average, to the extent of no fresh juices or fresh fruit. What was really problematic was the arrangements for dinner, which are peculiar. They seem to want you to opt into the "meal plan", at about 45 Euro per head. If you don't, and go a la carte, you get second rate service - we weren't offered any drinks except water, for example, no bread, and they didn't clear the table. The primo was the smallest I have ever had in Italy. Salad was not available except from the buffet. There appears to be only one (physical) a la carte menu for the whole restaurant.More
