Although we were the only people in the hotel at that time we were made to feel very welcome by MarieAngela and although she spoke limited English and we only knew a few words of Italian we managed to communicate. The hotel is well located in the centre of Ponte Di Legno and is well situated for accessing the wonderful walking in the area. Although the room was on the small size, it was very clean and the beds very comfortable and we also had a balcony with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains .

From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. Probably one the cleanest hotels I have been in. Their friendly staff went out of there way to ensure we sampled the local cuisine while at the same time allowing the kids choose what they wanted. The hotel is situated in a perfect location; 2 min walk to the ski slopes, 5 minute walk to the municipal swimming pool and 2 minute walk to the village. Great value for money. I would strongly recommend staying at this family run hotel for winter or summer breaks.

At the hotel Pineta you will find a good accommodation for your vacation, good food (in portions good enough for hungry skiers) is served at lunch and dinner. The restaurant isn't a-la-carte, then you have to choose your courses the day before and, should you have any particular request for different dishes or times, just ask the kind staff.
Rooms are not the biggest in the world, but bed is confortable, sheets and towels are immaculate, and everything is thoroughly cleaned every morning.
The position in town is another bright spot: you are a couple minute walk from the ski lifts, from the bus stop and from the central square. By the way, most of the staff speak english fluently.

Good hotel, family owned.
5 min to the ski slopes of Ponte di legno. A gondola can take you at Passo del Tonale to enjoy all the ski area. There's an useful warmed ski room for boots !
The food is fabulous and offer homemade local dishes, ther's a recreational space for kids with table games and books (almost in Italian with some exceptions!!).
Rooms are clean and cozy and warm, maybe a little bit small but with all comforts (free wifi in the room, TV, a good shower, personal adjustment of radiators).
Owners and service nice and helpful, even to clean our little daughter dirty clothes when arrived.

My fiancee and I spent a wonderful few days at the Hotel Pineta over New Year. The Hotel is in a perfect location to make the most of the town and the surrounding area. It is only a 5 minute walk to the chair lift and cable car hub that take you to the ski slopes and mountain activities.

We rented a car, so the free parking at the Hotel was a bonus.

The rooms are lovely and clean and had everything we needed. The Hotel has a lovely, relaxed and family friendly atmosphere.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and were always ready to help and give information about the local area.

But the best thing about Hotel Pineta is the amazing local and national food and drink served in the restaurant. Probably the BEST food I've ever tasted :) We ate in the Hotel every night!

We plan to visit again in Summer and would recommend Hotel Pineta to all our family and friends :)
