Our stay at Residence Paradise was a disappointing one. The room was spacious, but had a very bad odor; it must have been the old ventilation in the bathroom (no toilet paper) or the room itself. The furnishings including the kitchen were outdated and not so clean. Yes, you did have a kitchen but I had to buy dish soap from a local supermarket and clean everything before cooking or making anything (everything had a coat of dust on it).
The place is not good value for money. Many families opt for this kind of arrangement (studio/room with kitchen) because they can save money on eating out, but the savings are minimal because the room itself was quite expensive and the service non-existent (I am not joking, brooms were stored inside the room next to the main door so you can sweep your own room). Save yourself the trouble and go to a hotel, it's cheaper and the service is top-notch!
Breakfast was hit and miss and every evening you had to choose which croissant you wanted for breakfast next day, because apparently there is a one croissant per customer policy.
Fortunately, we had a car so we spent most of our time outside getting to know the Gargano region, which is extremely beautiful and well worth the visit.More
