Beware when booking, Owner cancelled without warning, due to arrive on my birthday, very disappointing. Now back to the drawing board, looking for place to stay. However, deposit was returned promptly.

Due to the hotels mistake, we did not get our 2 rooms that were booked and confirmed to us. They offered us rooms at the adjoining Micheangelo hotel for 2 nights and promised to help with the luggage transfer to the nex location, hotel Panorama (there was only room for 2 nights in Michelangelo). We never got the help, but carried our luggage ourselves. the second hotel was not the standard we had booked. All this made our visit to Montecatini Terme quite different than we had hoped. We also payed the same full price as in our booking, even if we did not by far get what we had booked. A big disappointment indeed.

This hotel is more like a three star hotel. The food is very average. We would arrive for breakfast at the same table designated by the hotel every morning and it would be set for two instead of four, also table cloth had not been changed, and not enough cuttlery. Hot water in shower was not controllable. Auto light in wardrobe set to 14 seconds very annoying. Staff very arrogant. Room very hot but hotel turned of the air con. When ask to put it on we were told it was not possible. It would seem that they deside what suits them and residents comfort does not matter. Tea and coffee at breakfast was cool.

Charming villa in the grounds of the Michelangelo Hotel; quite peaceful, rooms clean and warm, staff very welcoming; tennis court, pool. Breakfast is very good and plentiful.
Stayed with friends there who had been several times. Had a great visit; good location to walk into town and have a few beers.
Would recommend and would visit again.
