The jewel in the crown here is the stunning Baroque church the Chiesa de la Missione that overlooks the Piazza Maggiore. There is a bigger Cathedral church off the other end of the piazza but this one is glorious. Built in the C17 it is stunningly decorated throughout internally by Andrea Pozzo. It is his first major work, before he went on to fame in Rome and elsewhere and includes an amazing trompe l'oeil dome and the only remaining example of a Baroque era mechanism that allows a painting of the patron saint to be raised up during services. The inside is clean, bright and well restored.
