We stayed twice...before and after a cruise. perfect location...just 20 mins into Venice. Reception staff gave us a detailed map of where to get tram tickets, where to get tram to Venice and how to get back again. also provided a map of Venice with two suggested walks to cover all the usual sights. He also suggested an island tour of Murano and Burano by boat which was good value. Breakfast ..continental and plentiful. Yes...the rooms are a little dated but it's very clean, beds are comfortable and the towels are fluffy.
There are restaurants about 15 mins walk away..but...the nearest was a taverna just around the corner where they have happy hour and the food was very good....very big portions. Most of the starters will serve 2 people.

Good value base to explore Venice. Rooms clean and air conditioning worked well. Trams into Venice run every 10mins and are a 3-4min walk away, journey time into Venice around 12-15mins and 3 euros return either get ticket from reception or tobacconist near the tram stop . Not much in the local area although there is a supermarket which closes for siesta during the early afternoon. Hotel is family run and the reception staff are very helpful and were very willing to help when there was a transport strike. Breakfast is ok and standard continental type. Only drawback is 35mins walk from Mestre train station if taking the airport bus but if i went again i would get the bus into Venice and then the tram back although there is one direct hourly bus from the airport.

A two night stay and was pleasantly surprised at this small friendly hotel Amazing staff very helpful in ensuring your stay was trouble free Good knowledge of both Mestre and Venice Escorted to our room which was spotlessy clean and although small toilet was ensuite . Had a small bar facility and a very good breakfast room witha varied slection of Breakfast food
