We were back for a weekend in the area where we lived for 2.5 years and our favourite fish restaurants were all full. We hadn’t been here before but as the TA reviews were so good we gave it a go.

It’s in a residential area so you are not expecting a restaurant there but it has a good sized car park. The outdoor seating area is great - plenty of space with good sized tables for 2 and a overhead canopy of climbing vines giving a lovely atmosphere for your meal.

After everything being perfect so far we were hoping the food and service would be as good - and they were. Our waiter spoke good English and he translated the menu options for us. We ordered antipasti, pasta and a main which with the extra risotto complement of the chef was too much - choose one course less would be our advise.

The food was both really tasty and nicely presented. We started with the seafood salad and a selection of different fish tartar, had different seafood pastas then ended with the tuna and prawns in a curry sauce. All were fantastic and beautifully cooked.

We were too full for desert but left feeling full and very happy!

As soon as you are close to the restaurant you know you come to a classy place. The gentry is very upmarket and we were very excited to have found and come to this place. Till here was the good part for us.
Then started the actual job of ordering and eating the food.
Firstly, ordering in English is very difficult here.
We were 3 Veg Indians and I ordered 1 each of 3 veg dishes thinking I would order more depending upon the taste.
The waiter brought 3 plates of the first dish itself. When I asked him "How Many did I order?" he said wait, will check and revert. Comes back with the price of the dish :(

My other two friends did not even touch that dish, tomato puree with red rice, but the waiter did not remove it off the bill.
Then we ordered some pasta. Again it was very authentic. Which means totally not for the not very matured Indian palate. Raw and no sauces at all.
And then we ordered some mixed veggies. Both my friends couldn't get in more than a spoonful.

We ended with a Vanilla Ice-cream which was simply superb though.

To sum up, the place is very small, nice and the Chef seems to love his job. I am sure people liking authentic Italian Non Veg food would love it. But this place is definitely not for the un-matured veg Indian palate..

Either you are sitting in Venice area, either you are traveling on A4 (as we did), this place is well worth a visit. Great value, great plates - fresh fish revisited by the owner&chef's passion. Excellent value for money in a relaxed location - outdoor as well.
