Firstly it's a 15 minute ride from the airport - €30 from the taxi rank or the bus stops outside. It is in the middle of nowhere but don't let that put you off. 2 regular buses to Venice stop outside and the hotel provides a timetable. The fare is€1.50 each way to Venice bus terminal or travel cards are available to buy at reception. We bought the 72 HR option for €45 which includes the vaporetto ( each ride €9.50) we got very good use of it going all the way to Burano!
Very clean and welcoming. Rooms ready from 2 but we got 1 at 12.45.
We book the 2 queen bed rooms and they were a nice size for a 4 night break. Tea and coffee in the room as well as a fridge and kettle.
Small shop on site charges seemed reasonable.
Pool area clean and comfortable. A food and drinks service was available and the staff were great. Nice big pool towels.
Breakfast is buffet and coffee self service. Lovely pastries.
Yes the overpass to come back over the road from the bus stop is a bit grim but
we still rated the hotel 5 because it provided everything we needed at a reasonable price. Being out of the city gave us a pool to escape to in the afternoon and air conditioning that works!
Take care when booking a taxi back to the airport - use Uber- the local company overcharged us.
