Booked this hotel for 2 nights prior to a cruise out of Venice. The sign says 3 star but perhaps 2.5 would be more accurate. A small hotel with friendly staff particularly the receptionist. It is well located and well located for a short walk into Mestre, which is a delightful little town. Directly outside is a bus stop for a number 2 bus into Venice. Purchase the water bus and land bus from the receptionist - well worth it.
Now for the hotel. There is a small bar although we did not use it. No lift so you have to lug the suitcases up stairs. Rooms are small although with high ceilings tends to make them look a bit bigger. The bath room is small, stand in a tiny narrow bath for a shower from mixer taps surrounded by a plastic sheet that draws into your body is not good. No where to keep your toiletries and with a pink plastic mirror surround, very dated and old fashioned. The full length mirror in the bedroom is a bonus and the bed although small is comfortable.
Breakfast is 7 euros and good value however you have to boil your own eggs and sorting toast is a major adventure.
Lots of down sides but staff are its saving grace and it was adequate for 2 nights.More
