Fresh, yet simple fish and shellfish dishes mid island. No bs, friendly service. Cataplana was excellent and sauce did not overpower the seafood. Make sure you order the fresh bread to dip into the tomato broth! Come here for fresh fish of the day grilled to perfection and accompanied by local sweet potatoes and veggies. If you’re a Portuguese seafood newbie, try the Raia (Ray), it’s beautiful white, tasty fish. Also delicious, the grilled squid and shrimp skewers, one of my go-to seafood dishes in Portugal.
