We stayed in summer so can not tell you how beautiful it looked with snow! Hotel is a solid 3 stars, clean and tidy with good hot water but showing it’s age and in need of a good tidy up. Bed was not as comfortable as I would like.

Delightful family run hotel close to the centre of Cortina. Tasteful but not pretentious. Warm and welcoming staff. Delicious food. Rooms comfortable and v quiet despite busy location. Wifi unpredictable (as elsewhere in Cortina); the only negative I'd note. We've stayed at 5 or 6 places in Cortina including some more expensive hotels (see my reviews) but this is firmly our favourite. Lovely. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Hotel Trieste at the beginning and end of our 7-day rifugio-to-rifugio adventure through the Dolomites on the Alta Via. The rooms were generally comfortable and the hotel is convenient to most activities around Cortina itself. The staff of the hotel is very helpful and we enjoyed the breakfasts. There is very good variety, the foods are fresh and tasty and the coffee is tremendous! We would recommend this hotel.

One "criticism" is that the while the Wifi in the hotel is complimentary, it doesn't work well in the rooms - only in the common areas on the ground floor. That seemed to be a consistent issue in the other hotels we used in Italy (Venice and Florence). Seems like something that could use some thought.

We stayed at the Hotel Trieste before and after our three night trek in the Dolomites. We were very impressed by everything about the hotel - the building, the restaurant, and especially the staff. The staff of Hotel Trieste went out of their way to help us, including getting us to the train station even when roads were closed during an ultra race that took place during our last night. I highly recommend this sweet hotel.

This is a pleasant hotel on the outskirts of a very expensive resort, so a moderate option is appreciated. My room included a balcony with a great view of the mountains. Town was a short walk through a pedestrian bypass, which was great given that the hotel was located on a very busy street. The breakfast (included) was a disappointment after a few weeks in the Tirol. Lots of packaged food, but missing were the croissants, fresh fruit yoghurt, and rustic breads found in other hotels. Staff generally nice.
