We received this recommendation as a Trattoria from our hotel. It was late and we indicated that we wanted something good, simple and not too expensive. We asked about parking and since it was late, we were told that parking fees did not apply.
We drove to the now Ristorante. It's outside the city, off the beaten path and really hard to identify. Come to find out, the ristorante has it's own parking.
We wanted to see the menu before entering and we were told that the menu was inside - I always thought t customary to have the menu outside- I was wrong. A gentlemen directing traffic was nice enough to bring us a menu.
The menu, two pages long, had no prices ???? I have been to 5 star hotels and Michelin rated restaurants that always have the menu posted outside and For SURE included the prices.
Late in the evening and not in the mood the ask for the prices of the different plates, we quickly put the in reverse and left.
Guess there is a first for everything - know that if you go, you might as well give your wallet to the waiter before you order.
