In the 25-odd years that I've lived in Italy there have been a number of Asian restaurants that have popped-up and disappeared just as quickly, some bad, some incredibly good, almost all of them closed due to general disinterest. Fortunately times are changing, and this place looks like a good candidate to last for a decent period and offer an alternative to great but otherwise ubiquitous Italian cooking (it IS possible to grow tired even of that).
Here you're a few yards from the fashionable Carmine district in a nice spot with plenty of parking nearby. The place has recently undergone a few changes and has been redecorated in an interesting and decidedly modern style, unpretentious and clean. The staff are a little new to all this as well (young!), although they are friendly and courteous, and service is fairly prompt and smooth.
And so to the food, which was really pretty good! True, if you're used to the choices that London, Paris or Amsterdam have to offer then you may find the menu a little short, but as all Italians will tell you, the best places do few things but they do them very well. We found this to be the case right here, and we will be back!
