Description: The Loggia Rambaldi, a 16th-century building by the school of the architect Giulio Romano, looks onto the harbour of Bardolino right where the lake, coming further inland after the Belvedere bay, opens up to become a welcoming amphitheatre. It was built towards the end of the 1500s by the Marquis Girolamo Rambaldi, who conceived it as a belvedere on the lake facing his stately home in Bardolino. The Loggia has survived the centuries and is witness to an ambitious project that was later modified. Fortunately, neither the erosion of the elements nor that resulting from changing customs have interfered with its architectural worth, and it stands today as one of Bardolino’s most precious buildings. The outcome is a setting that is both simple and harmonious, where historical charm merges with the warmth and attention generated by individuals who have chosen professional catering not only because it is a long family tradition, but above all because they are passionate about their work. The dining room is divided lengthwise into three ‘naves’ by columns that also support the beautiful vaulted ceiling and it features a large fireplace that gives warmth and additional atmosphere. It is without doubt a splendid setting for any occasion.

Good service. Decent choice of menu. Steak tartare to start was very nice and main of lake Garda sardine spaghetti was lovely. Wife’s pasta with aubergine was also very good. One of the better meals we’ve had in the lake Garda area. Also one of the more expensive but nice location and surroundings and food quality.

We had dinner here twice, the food, service and staff were brilliant both times. I had pizza the first time, best pizza all holiday, very light and crispy all the way through. The pasta dishes were gorgeous.

We were on a day out from Verona and this venue was chosen by the tour company for lunch. It is in a nice location near to the Lake, but not overlooking as such, with tables both properly indoors, in the large conservatory style area and outside under a canopy. We sat in the conservatory area as there were heavy showers.

Lunch was good, I had two courses, a starter, ham & melon, and pasta as a main. Service was good and friendly, although our guides coffee seemed to take a while to come out.

It was a bright comfortable place for a relaxed lunch

Food was nice, caprese was not great and service was also not great. Very close to the waterfront though.

Been here for the third time and i see that the kitchen is getting worse over time. The pizza carpaccio was extremely salty while the carpaccio was tasteless. The salads are served with olives from discounts...despite all the great local variaties...from such a place and location and for such a price you can expect more.
