We were guests on two occasions at this charming hotel, so breakfast and dinner were included as part of our tour package.
Breakfast was always a huge, varied spread of cereals, fruits, yogurts, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, high quality teas, juices, etc.
Dinner for us was included each evening, and the 3-course meals consisted of large portions. The salad buffet was filling on its own; but then they’d serve a Primi of soup or generous pile of pasta, followed by a Secondi of meat slabs with potatoes and root vegetables, and finished with a generous Dolci such as ice cream. Wine was always available. Hubs and I would usually be full after the Primi. Everything was hearty, fresh, and full of REAL flavor unlike the U.S.’s conventionally grown and raised produce and meats.
Staff did their utmost to keep us happy and well-fed. They did their jobs with pride and if there's one aspect I miss about Alta Badia (besides the food), it's the people at Ustaria Posta.
