What a fabulous pub. The refurb is outstanding!!!! Wasn’t sure what to expect due to reading some previous reviews, after hearing that there had been a refurb I thought defo worth a try. The place looks amazing and dog friendly. Drinks were lovely, a perfect espresso martini was my fav of the night. All three of us had a 3 course meal, not one complaint to be had. We defo be coming back and highly recommend.

Yeah why did I come back after my September '19 review?! My other half wanted dinner out and this was the only place that suited all including my daughter. Same young lady serving when we arrived to a very cold restaurant. But an electric heater was put on. A few other folks arrived including 6 older people. Food was ok; cheeseburger chips, steak & kidney suet pud and pasta with salmon & prawns for my daughter. A nice quiet dinner or so I thought. At 8pm the very loud band started in the bar next door. Why??! I go to a restaurant for food, company and to talk. I go to a bar for drinks and loud music if that's what's advertised. How is a quiet evening possible with all that noise? Ruined the evening and we left even though we all wanted desserts. What a real shame as I used to love this pub, the food and the people. : ((
