In few words, simply amazing food experience in an elegant place. La Kuccagna is located about 30 minutes far from Milan by car. Sorrounded by the tipical countryside land, this restaurant is inside an ancient rustical building completely revisited in a modern way with taste and elegance.
The service is perfect. Kindly and helpful. And the food: amazing. Tasty, coocked with fresh ingredients and fantasy. The portions are perfect. The prices are very good compared to the highquality of the food. From the starters until to the deserts passing through the wine....everything is very very good!!
I super recommend this restaurant!!! I will come back for sure soon!!!

If you are in the Eastern part of Milan you should consider going out of the main path and take a short detour in the most rural part east of the city, now accessible through a new highway stretch.
La Kukkagna deserves credit for being extremely original while strongly rooted in the Italian tradition. The strenghts of the place are in the excellent choice of appetizers and small plates, good desserts and strong wine list.
A very special octopus dish, small bites of a local cheese (Salva Cremasco) wrapped in a crispy dough, delicious shrimps, and the "Tiramisu Tecnologico" (an updated version of the traditional Tiramisu) are just few of the offerings we enjoyed for dinner. Nice environment mixing modern touches with the traditional structure of the farms in this area.
Accurate and courteous service.
Worth a visit.

Been there just twice beforehand, I could really enjoy a tasty beef fillet, with a traditional cold cut starter as an entrance. Atmosphere is cozy and staff's attitude really helpful and willing. Huge variety of wines and dishes. Excellent!!

What a classy, enjoyable and cozy though, restaurant in the middle of the countryside.

We went for a Christmas Eve dinner, everything was perfect. The location is extremely well furnished and the mood is somehow special. The food goes along and it is delicious and proportioned: fine ingredients for sublime tastes.

If you're looking for something different, that stands out of the crowd, just get there, you won't be disappointed!

This is the perfect examples of how sometimes you can find hidden gems in the most unlikely place. We came here following some friends' adivce, otherwise it would have been almost impossible even to consider a dinner in such a location. In any case, the restauran deserves a trip (after all, it's just 20 minutes driving from Milan).
As soon as you open the dorr, you immediately perceive the care that the staff puts into every detail of this restaurant. The ambience puts you immediately in a very relaxed mood. Food is great. We had a dinner based on mead and mushrooms, and it was delicious; but it's hard to make a choice once you see the menu, as everything seems made with great creativity and maximum attention to quality. The "Salva Cremasco" as appetizers deserves a try. They have a little wine/food shop close to the entrance. They sell oils, wines, liquors and a few delicatessen, with surprisingly reasonable prices, considering the overall quality level. Not super cheap, but definitely value for money.
