“Fabulous location and super facilities”

Just a short break of 6 days in this lovely area of Brittany, close to the beaches and towns of Plancoet and Dinan, the clear night skies, unpolluted by city lights and the early mornings of birdsong and early autumn mists were a joy. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and well appointed, providing everything needed to be self sufficient for the short stay. A trip into Dinan and lunch in a small traditional French restaurant, La Courtine was exceptional in both service and food, but be sure to book!!
Altogether a brilliant break in this beautiful area of France.

“Perfect location”
Reviewed 4 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

This was our first experience of this part of Brittany and we weren't disappointed. The cottage was perfectly located, perfectly equipped and great for young children. It has a HyperU very close in Plancoet as well as being 15-20 mins away from many beaches (our fave was St Jacut de la mer). A definite gem of a cottage and one we will be returning to. The owners were incredibly obliging and quick to respond to queries. The best bit was being able to relax in a home from home and the least was having to leave at the end of the week!

“Secluded, peaceful and a real home from home, with great access to the best of Brittany”
Reviewed 19 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

La Ville Meunier is a fantastic gite tucked away in the French countryside, yet only 10 minutes to a bakery and Hyper-U. There is a wide choice of resorts from chic St Lunaire and Dinard to more laid back beaches at St Jacut where shrimping and shellfishing are favourite pastimes. Medieval Dinan is just 20 minutes by car.

The cottage itself is a gem, probably our best in seven years of holidays in France. We first visited last year, and enjoyed the atmosphere of the cottage so much we immediately rebooked for August 2013. Every little convenience is catered for, even down to providing a four-way power adaptor to charge phones and other gadgets. The garden is private and sunny, with deckchairs and a table for outdoor dining. Our little one loved the space to play with his toy archery and golf sets.

The owners are easy to communicate with and there is an English-speaking contact nearby, should you need it. We never did.

“It is marvellous!”
Reviewed 31 July 2011 for a stay in July 2011

Spoiled Dutchmen as we are: we were surprised by this cottage. Very quiet and cosy, comfortable and well equipped: it was a perfect place to stay and discover the beautiful landscape of Brittany. We walked along several parts of the coastal path, Dinan is lovely and the beaches of Dinard are nice and quiet.
