A beautiful lodge in the most convenient spot. Kitchen, laundry room and the spa pool were very much appreciated by us. The chalet is so nice and well furnished and the hosts are awesome. So nice and helpful. We highly recommend Abel Tasman lodge.
The location is just perfect to start a trip in the Abel Tasman National Park. The Lodge was awesome, beautifully decorated, clean, super helpful and lovely owners. We love that they care for the environment (e.g., eco detergent etc.). The community kitchen is perfect and a great place to meet and chat with other guests. We've never seen such a clean laundry room.
The room was spotless and fresh. The owner was very attentive. We had breakfast delivered each morning and utilized the laundry a short walk away. Good to leave with clean clothes! It's in the middle of all the activities in which to participate.
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely Lodge. The welcoming by Jocelyn and Scott was very good and informative. The chalet itself was really nice. The communal kitchen was super good and was equipped with everything that was needed.
When we traveled on to our next destination on the journey, Jocelyn took the time to recommend what exciting things we could see and experience on the way there.

We had an amazing time at Abel Tamsan Lodge on our honeymoon earlier this month. The Kowahai suite was really spacious and comfortable. There is a lovely shared kitchen on site and BBQs for guests to use. Scott and Jocelyn were so welcoming. The Abel Tamsan Lodge is a true gem in Marahau.
