“Very clean and quiet location. Perfect”
Reviewed 27 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Great base to stay and still easy access to Rhyl and Towyn for the Tir prince fair etc. The accomodation was well kept and very clean with bed made upon arrival. Any issues were quickly sorted out with a text message to the owner who did all he could to help. Was only a quick walk to the beach and the local asda.
Downside was the oven takes an age to cook anything so ended up frying a lot of the time, the cctv stopped and was beeping, turned off the electric and on again as advised but only stopped it for a while. Although it had a downstairs bathroom and bedroom it is not accessible if you have mobility issues like me, you have to climb into the bath for a shower and there are steps into the property both at the front and back, but i still managed it with a little help. There are only curtains on the huge windows so felt like i was in a goldfish bowl most of the time especially whilst eating in the dining room as other peoples homes are just over the road.
But all in all it was a very comfortable place to stay and very relaxing and i would go to stay here again. Slept us all with no issues about space which is handy if you go with family as i did. Just one last thing....then showers make a noise like seagulls when in use, we found turning the cold tap on just a little stopped it as it is very loud. Could also do with upgrading the garden table and chairs as the top of the table slats were rotting away and one of the chairs was very wobbly so we never sat on that, but there are other seating available.
Was still a very nice place to stay with family and easy to get to the rest of what Wales has to offer.
And a massive thank you to Andrew who at the time we stayed was on holiday himself but still replied to my text messages within a short space of time....i hope you and Edana had a wonderful holiday too.

Management Response
21 Aug 2017
Thank you - our neighbours were having an unusual amount of visitors that week due to to the daughter getting married the weekend after your departure - sorry for the inconvenience caused during your stay and we are happy that other than that, 'Peacehaven' suited the requirements for you and your family.
All the best
Andrew

“Fantastic Cottage!”
Reviewed 9 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

From first arriving at Peacehaven, I was stunned by how beautiful the place actually was, the pictures show the place perfectly, but in person the Cottage is so much nicer. The beach is literally a 5 min walk, supermarket a 10 min walk, the perfect location to get to both Rhyl and and Towyn, but off the main road so it's nice and peaceful.
Andrew has been polite and very helpful, recommending local events that were on in the time of our stay, which was very nice.
I am already arranging to book this lovely Cottage again for later on this year.
Peacehaven Cottage is the only place I would ever consider staying in when I return to Wales :)
Thank you!

“Great accommodation, wonderful location.”
Reviewed 10 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Booking was easy and fast, the property is light and airy with a wonderful garden that is bathed in sun nearly all day. It's situated a pleasant short walk to the beach and has a decent choice of places to eat and drink within 5 minutes walk, there is also an Asda close by.
