We actually went to Narcao for one of the traditional-type festas they have here on the island but I'd read about Tratalias and suggested a quick side trip to my husband. NOT TO BE MISSED. The old village of Tratalias has been kept beautifully and this church could have been built quite recently, it's in such good condition and a perfect example of the architecture from those times. The village still had lots of visitors, even at this time of year, but it was a Sunday, so quite a lot of things were closed. Certainly a place we must revisit.
