8 of us came and had meals here everyday on our week long stay and it was simply amazing!! all the family are warm and welcoming and they can’t do enough to make you feel at home, the food is beautiful as are the very clean air conditioned rooms, also an english speaking host so any questions are answered with ease, every day we were pointed in the right direction to veiw amazing coast line and stunning towns, boat trips and restaurants, but really no need to eat anywhere else as the food is absolutely first class ❤️ a firm 10 out of 10 from all 8 of us and we can’t wait to visit this lovely family in this perfect place again, until next time x

I visited this lovely family local with my family during a week in Palinuro. The food was delicious and clearly home made. The children ate very well so we decided to eat here most nights, knowing that the food was of high quality for our baby girl. Both myself and my husband enjoyed the very well cooked steak, great wine, and a variety of home made deserts. We will return next year.

We enjoyed a rare meal of 100% home grown organic products. We had some very tasty vegatables to start with flowed by hand made pasta and the best steak I have ever had. Not to mention the incredibly low prices. Can't wait to return to this friendly local.

San Leonardo is in a remarkably well-preserved medieval manor house. It is the outlet for an organic farm. Everything is homemade, fresh, and delicious. There is no menu. The waiter or the cook tells you what is fresh that day and you choose from a limited selection.
The first time there we shared an antipasto and a large veal steak. The antipasto included samples of two interesting eggplant dishes, prosciutto, and several slices of an outstanding homemade Genoa sausage. The steak was tender and delicious. We finished with expresso. The bill was aroung $15 a person.
The second time there we each had 1/4 char-broiled chicken. The free-range chicken was half-again the size of an American factory chicken. It was cooked to perfection. The side of grilled zucchini was very good. The house red wine was excellent. We finished with an outstanding homemede limoncello (lemon liquer). All of this came for $22 a person! I gave the waiter a stunned look and he said, "There is no middleman."
