Stayed at Roe Deer Cottage for a week in September. The cottage is beautifully presented and the best equipped we have stayed in. The friendly, helpful hosts have thought of everything, including a bottle of wine.
Cottage is all on the flat, has a ramp and would be ideal for older or less mobile guests. There is a short walk down to Loch Leven. It is handy to Fort William, Kinlochleven, Glencoe Village and the wonderful walking tracks around Glencoe. It is also less than a one hour drive to Oban where we caught the ferry for a visit to Mull and Iona.
Had beautiful weather while we were there and were very reluctant to leave. Highly recommend this property.

We loved staying at Roe Deer Cottage and it is certainly the best cottage we have visited. It is immaculate, very well equipped with quality items and also has lots of information about things to do and places to eat. The welcome pack was just lovely, as was the peace and quiet and the wildlife nearby. We would definitely recommend it.

1 review Not the first time staying here, and not the first time to feel completely comfortable, relaxed, and very impressed with the cottage and superb surrounding area. Highly recommended.

Super cottage. Everything you need and good quality. Near to so many things. Would stay here again. Lovely touches from Elaine of a bottle of chilled wine, chocolates, biscuits, selection of teas and coffee and fresh flowers.

Beautifully situated cottage in the Glencoe area. The cottage is immaculately clean and tidy with everything you could wish for. Very comfortable beds and furniture and very tastefully decorated throughout. We received a very warm welcome and really appreciated a complimentary welcome pack. A lovely patio area with seating and a fantastic view in every direction and wildlife coming right up to the cottage. Would highly recommend this beautiful cottage and we will be returning in the near future.
