Description: We are a family run pub who take great pride in serving our customers with good home-made food and drink. We try to use local produce wherever possible as we believe in supporting our local community. We have a restaurant area which comfortably sits 30 people and is available for private functions, and can provide buffets upon request. As well as the bar area we also have a large beer garden which is ideal for those sunny days. We have Sky Sports and BT Sports and 5 big, screens, including 1 outside. We welcome dogs into our pub, and families of all ages, have great baby changing facilities and disabled access is very good too.

Stopped at the Weavers for lunch with friends and family. Good kids menu and excellent value '2 for' menu (can't remember the price, less than a tenner). Although the portions were a bit tight and my pulled pork burger was a bit on the dry side (hence not 5 stars), it would've benefitted from a squeeze of bbq sauce or something. Family friendly with highchairs. Helpful and welcoming barmaid and excellent selection of drinks and cask ales.

Visited in half term. Very friendly and accommodating staff, dog friendly and a lovely atmosphere. Food was good pub food, the cheesy chips were really great value with LOADS of gooey cheese!

We were recommended by the Land lady at our B & B The welcome was warm and friendly The building dated back to 1805 and just reeked of atmosphere We ate in the restaurant as the bar was crowded The menu and specials board offered a good range and we both enjoyed our meals Service was prompt and efficient After we had the opportunity of chatting both with the Landlady and her daughter Overall a most pleasant evening Although we didn't need to eat the next evening but enjoyed a drink and a session of pool

We visited here as we were between house viewings in the area. We were greeted by a lovely lady( I'm assuming she was the landlady) bought drinks and plonked ourselves by the fire! The pub itself is great, low ceilings, open fires, a proper pub! There were some TVs, but only 1 was on, we heard the radio but no loud music. We looked at the menu, it was small but looked very nice, even had a kids menu. We will definitely return if in the area, thank you!
