Show lessDear Jerry,
Thank you for your lovely review, which I have only just seen! I hope you managed to get the new house near Newquay up and running. We did enjoy having you to stay and although you have no reason to stay again with your own house down here, you are welcome to drop in sometime and say hello. If you want a golfing partner at St. Enodoc my brother will be happy to play with you.
Best wishes,
Louella
This is a beautiful house set in the most amazing scenery.
Robin and Louella were so accommodating and friendly helping us find the house but also advising us on things to do and how to get around.
We would definitely go back.
Very reasonably priced too.
Thank you, Andrew, for such a nice review (which I have only just seen!). I am assuming you are Andrew Hoyland and came with several of your family in August. We loved having you all to stay and so pleased to see you had such a nice time here. We are now fully in our new house which is lovely, and hoping for another glorious sunny, and busy, summer. Come and stay again!
Best wishes,
Louella
We stayed here as we attended a family wedding close by. The views are amazing, the Manor itself is full of character and immaculate but what makes this so special are the owners... their stories could have kept us entertained for hours.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for some peace and tranquility along with some very fine company.
Thank you for your kind review. I don't know who b3cks is, but you must have been delightful guests! Come and stay again. We are now in our new house and loving it, but still very much doing bed and breakfast, so come and see us if you can.
Best wishes,
Louella
If you prefer to be off the beaten track yet still have easy access to Cornwall's beautiful coastline, this unique destination would be hard to beat. Visitors are made to feel more like house guests by the owners, Robin and Louella, who themselves are very much part of the overall experience here. We loved the informality, the comfortable bedroom, the stunning views, the family-style delicious breakfast served in the conservatory and the lovely sitting room - perfect for cosying-up and reading when we had a rainy day. Going out for supper does of course mean a drive but this was no hardship, the directions provided were spot-on and the food delicious (especially the sea food) wherever we ate. We will certainly be returning!
Oh good! So pleased you will come and stay again! No idea who a1interserve is, but you were a delight to have to stay and thank you for your kind words.
We would love to have you back, so please wait for the good weather and come back.
Best wishes,
Louella
Warm welcome and great stories from this lovely couple. They gave us good advice about where to go and what to do and see. Lovely big room and nice breakfast.
The only drawback are the small roads and restaurants are a little drive away.
Dear Anne and Vera,
So kind of you to give us this nice review, which I have only just seen! Thank you. It was lovely having you both to stay and we loved the fact Vera like swimming in the lake.
Do come back! We are now in our new house and loving it, but very much wanting lots of guests and another lovely sunny summer.
Best wishes,
Louella
Robin and Louella are excellent hosts who provide a warm welcome, a comfortable stay and stimulating conversation. Their approach of friendly informality coupled with a love of animals makes them seem almost part of ones family.
The location of Cabilla Manor on the moors is good for walking, cycling and horse riding and it’s far enough from the recently uprated A30 to avoid the noise but close enough if you wish to travel further afield. It’s a very quiet location, the peace only broken by the sounds of the birds and animals, and there are splendid views across the moors from the grounds and some of the rooms.
Certainly for us this was a memorable stay deserving of a high mark.
Dear Rosy,
Thank you for the very kind review. I have only just seen it, but it is lovely to have and helps a lot on Tripadvisor.
We loved having you to stay and hope you will return one day. We are now in our new house, but still very much doing bed and breakfast and hoping for another lovely sunny summer.
Many thanks,
Louella
