Stayed in Treetops with in laws and out one year old. Nice sized kitchen/living area where we spent most of our time. There was a massive telly but I don’t think we turned it on once, why would you in such a nice spot? Outdoor space for the property was small but shared green space is close by.
The morning tractor rides were great for the children and at 1.5 hours were more than token show and gos. Kids were generally well catered for, with plenty to explore. As an active man I also found things to do - there are some challenging running routes (not for beginners). I hired a bike from the snails pace cafe and did the camel trail which was fun, although more a family route than a challenging ride. i also fished for the first time in years. Even if you don’t like fishing it’d worth going to the lake and throwing in some bread around dusk. The carp rise up to it and it’s a relaxing way to spend half an hour.
There are plenty days out to be had in port Isaac, padstow etc.
Fiona and Nick were both helpful and friendly. I read one review saying Fiona was rude - that’s laughable. The other guests were good fun too.
It’s definitely a good place to spend a week with the family.More
