Exceeded all expectations, this experience is most definitely ' glamping' or 'posh camping' ... The welcome from Grant was friendly and informative, very welcoming. The tent is fully equipped with every thing you could need, it is cosy, homely and perfect for the getaway experience of modern technology with the kids. We played games by candlelight at night, toasted Marshmallows on the chimney and relaxed with board games and a glass of wine. The log burner in the tent was very much welcomed at this time of year, it kept us very cosy at night when it was on the go. The tent and the grounds are very well maintained and ideal for the kids and adults to enjoy some outdoor fun, games are supplied. There are several beautiful walks in the area. We stayed for 3 nights and I could have stayed longer!. We came prepared for the Scottish weather at this time of year, we did have quite a cold wild windy night but in the tent it remained warm with the log burner on the go. The beds are very comfy, the kids loved the triple bunks. Very close to Stirling and Falkirk so plenty to do if you want to go out and about. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a quiet relaxing break with all the comforts of home. As a family we are already planning a return visit. Thank you to Grant and family for a lovely break.

Lovely, well thought out accommodation that is well equiped. A great camping adventure for the children with indoor and outdoor toys provided as well a large fenced area for them to play. Bunkbeds a big hit!

Just looking for a stop over on our way north and feel very privelleged to have found this place. Very well thought out, equipped and furnished. Two kids (13 and 9) absolutely loved the tripple bunk and two adults slept soundly on a proper bed.

The 'Tent' (it's canvas therefore it is) is very spacious, woodburner keeps you cosy - honesty box for wood etc is an inspired idea. Lots of games to keep the family amused in the evening. Great kitchen with 4 ring hob and hot running water. Plus a private shower room / toilet just one step away.

Fabulous hosts keen to make our stay a good one.

Quietly in the middle of nowhere yet such quick and easy access to Stirling (fantastic Castle) and Falkirk (must visit Kelpies) before getting back on the road.

“Fabulous adventure, this is camping in style!”

Leaving a place already desperate to return is a surefire sign of a great time had by all. We stayed with our 8 year old and 1 year old and both had the most amazing time. For the one year old it offered a chance to explore new things including her first sleep in a big girls bunk and it was lovely to have my 8 year old fully engaged and playing games, without the fallback of tv and internet. Switching off for a few days did us all the world of good.

Grant gave us a very cheery welcome and made sure we had all we needed, from pointing us to the fridge to keep the little ones milk cold, to ensuring we had enough logs for the stove. We took some outdoor activities with us but Grant had plenty provided and we had a lot of fun with an impromptu game of badminton. The area surrounding the tent is safe and secure so the little one could play with freedom and peace of mind on our part.

Inside was a haven of cosiness and we were eagerly awaiting the darkness to fall so we could appreciate the delight of sitting by candlelight playing games in front of the fire. The girls loved the bunks and having the private toilet and shower just out the back made the experience even more hassle free.

This accommodation is set out to a very high standard, and is perfect for families and friends alike. We didn't get the weather to sit out front with the chiminea but are looking forward to using it the next time. We have already recommended it to our friends and are looking to find a time to return. With the stove inside this property really does make the camping experience something you could do all year round sit gets cosy quickly.

Grant could not have been more helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a fun escape this is the place to go. You are within easy reach of both Stirling and Falkirk and the bigger cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow are only an hour away making this an excellent central belt base for any holiday.

“A perfect spot for an adventure with the kids”

We spent 3 nights staying in 'Jennifer', the tent had everything you could need (including access to a fridge and freezer in the reception area) and with the changeable Scottish weather gave us more space than the normal tent camping we would do. A large enclosed grassy area for the kids to run about and play, we came prepared with bats and balls, though there was also outdoor toys available with the tent for the kids. The kids loved the triple bunkbed, and had a shot on each level. With the wood burner being great for chilly nights and early mornings. Grant checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and was happy to help us out when it took a little bit practice to get the fire going! The chiminea was handy for toasting some marshmallows, while mum and dad enjoyed a glass or 2 of wine and time to chat.

It's a great base to explore the central belt, we had days out to the Helix & Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, Wellsfield farm park, Bannockburn & Wallace Monument, finishing the trip off with a walk up Dumyat and an ice cream at Corrieri's.
