“Birthday weekend”
Reviewed 10 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Loved staying here. 8 of us spent the weekend here to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. Wonderful setting, terrific accommodation, very comfortable and spacious. Very well equipped. Phone call from owner to make sure we didn't have any problems was a nice touch. We had a slight problem with WiFi but not enough to bother us. Would certainly go back.

Thank you for your comments and am delighted to hear that you enjoyed your celebration at Corshill. Unfortunately the wi-fi doesn't reach all parts of the Cottage but we are working on this to try to improve guests' experience. We look forward to welcoming you back on a future occasion.

“Great hoilday rental”
Reviewed 22 December 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Loved this house, it has tons of character and space. As we were showing our American family around Scotland it was perfect both on the size and central location allowing us to travel easily. The accommodation was clean, plenty of parking and little touches such as family board games and cards were great.

“Pastoral Setting but near city”

Five friends and I just spent a week at the Corshill Cottage near Stirling. The owner was accessible and very prompt in all inquiries during the process of renting as well as during our stay. The home was in a lovely rural setting in central Scotland accessible to several lovely small villages with pubs, restaurants, bakeries and markets plus a short drive into Stirling. Would recommend breakfast at the Roman Camp Hotel in Callendar and dinner at the Lion and Unicorn in Thornhill. The train station in Stirling is very accessible making it very simple for us to take a day trip into Edniburgh or Glasgow. The location is at the edge of the Queen Elizabeth National Park and the highlands and near Loch Lohmon. A day trip up to the lake and lunch in Tuss was lovely. The cottage is well maintained and very comfortable with numerous areas so a large group can have some private space. The kitchen is well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the sheep in the pasture next to the cottage making for a lovely pastoral setting. Would recommend for large groups of friends, girls getaway or three or four couples. An automobile is a must.

“Perfect getaway for our large party”
Reviewed 27 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

This property was exactly as advertised, and the photographs do not entirely do it justice. Our party of 11 found the property homely and cosy, and the owners have been more than accommodating re: giving detailed directions to the property, returning lost property, etc!
I would highly recommend this property and we would consider returning here in future!
