I would highly recommend a stay here. Brian was so welcoming and gave us a brief history lesson before we ventured into town which helped us understand the layout of this quaint town. Brian's suggestion of a dinner venue - the Ocean Restaurant- proved to be an excellent one - both the friendliness of the staff and the food were superb. Our room was very comfortable and this with the quietness of the hotel allowed us to have a great night's sleep. Breakfast was brilliant - thank you Pam. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked a second night on our return journey.

Stayed here with my 8 year old daughter for a weekend. Everything was superb from the minute we arrived. Arrived late on the Friday evening was greeted at check in and given all the local info needed before being shown to our room. Room was spotlessly clean, well appointed and had everything you could need.

Breakfast was superb. Ordered the night before and served next morning. Nothing was too much trouble and both Pam and Brian were brilliant with my daughter. Really child friendly place to stay.

Hotel is in a great location - car parking over the road that's reasonably priced. Tenby isn't big but everything was in easy reach - including the attractions on the outside of Tenby.

We stayed at the Southcliff this weekend for 2 nights, the room was very clean and fresh, Pam and Brian, were so helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, very close to the town centre, restaurants, shops, beach all on the doorstep, so easy to pop back and forth to freshen up after the beach, nice little children's play area just outside by the hotel as well over looking the sea, we didn't get a chance to use the indoor playroom as the weather was so nice, but it was nice to know it was there if we needed it.

Breakfast was plentiful, anything you could want is available upon request. We were given little menus to fill out the day before, Pam and staff at breakfast couldn't have been more attentive especially to our 2 year old, who was brought little pots of fromais frai and was offered to take them with us for later, lots of different teas to choose from and fresh coffee brewing.

When we came back to the room on the second day, it had not only been cleaned but tidied too, and was a fresh as when we arrived on the first day (having a 2 year old meant it was soon a bomb site again) there were teddies and books left in the room for our 2 year old, and a side guard put on the bed for her too.

Tenby itself was stunning, lots to see and do, two days definitely not long enough, we would love to return, would definitely stay at southcliff again.

Thank you for a lovely stay.
