We received a very enthusiastic welcome and were pleased with the ground floor room, with easy access to the car park. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. En Suite was roomy with a good shower, gel and soap bars provided. A notice on the shower asked us to leave soiled towels in the shower and they would be replaced. For some reason this happened only on the first morning, and two days later I left a note asking for the towels to be changed, which they were. The drinks making ingredients were replenished daily, but there was no sign of any cleaning. We made our own bed by choice. The TV reception was good but number of channels available was abysmal. (Maybe a problem in that area of Tenby). Another phenomenon was that all wooden surfaces were sticky, put a cup down and it would stick, even the wooden floor in the dining room was similar. Breakfast was great, standard English, lovely bacon, eggs cooked just right. Tea or coffee as much as you like. Help yourself cereals, yogurts, toast, etc. We liked the provision of the honesty bar, but didn't partake. This is a nice friendly hotel that needs a little more attention to detail.

Room tip: Ground floor noise from above, Front room slight traffic noise.

Cottage Court Hotel is situated within a 10 minute walk of the beach and the walled town of Tenby down the hill.  To be fair we booked this accommodation in a hurry one night, after quickly looking at the photos on the website - latebooking.com. At a quick glance of the photos may lead you to believe that the accommodation has harbour views and its our own fault we didn't check the location on the map. The name hotel misled us a little as we feel it fits the title of large b&b or guest house more accurately than hotel. However, we were greeted warmly on arrival and assisted to our room with baggage.
The few negatives were:- that the room we are in was small for two people and we found ourselves falling over each other. We are traveling around the UK from Australia and have 2 suitcases which did not help. The bedroom contained a double bed and didn't have space for any bedside tables. Only one side the bed had a small shelf attached to the wardrobe. Additions in the room consisted of a small desk/dresser ,a wall mounted tv, kettle with sachets of refreshments. The bedroom and ensuite was a little tired looking but had new double glazing throughout. The floors creaked quite alot and the bathroom door was noisy when opening and closing it, sometimes sticking,  which meant we disturbed each other in the night. The positives were that downstairs had a small lounge area with tv and a bar area in which they operated an honesty bar. The breakfast room was fairly large and the staff serving were helpful.  Breakfast serving times compared with other places we have stayed we found to be restrictive due to the small window of time between 830am till 9:15. The cooked breakfast was reasonably good and options of brown and white bread was available to self toast. A small selection of cereals were available. The additional of a nice granola to go with the yoghurts would have been good. We did like that pots of both tea and coffee were available, along with orange juice and grapefruit juice. The accommodation was clean and on site parking available. As a large bed and breakfast this accommodation would have met our expectations.

After a "blip" (by booking.com) and thankfully sorted by Donna, we arrived Sunday to a lovely friendly hotel. Rm6 was cosy and ideal for us to have a lovely break. Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and there to help should you need it. It was just a 10 minute walk to the North Beach. Our room was clean and inviting with ample storage and room was cleaned each day and towels changed if "dirty" ones were left in the shower (as was requested by signage in bathroom). We enjoyed our stay and hope to return very soon. Well done Cottage Court Hotel...you made us feel very welcome and we hope to see you soon.

Room tip: If you want a small but friendly hotel run by people who care, then this is the one for you!!

The cottage court hotel was a lovely place to stay only a 10 min walk from Tenby and the beautiful harbour. the room was very small but cosy, the bed was very comfortable which enabled me to have a good nights sleep but the shower let the place down it was barely a trickle and after a day at work a nice powerful shower does the trick.

First the positives - free parking, a pleasant walk into Tenby (10 minutes to the harbour), comfortable bed, freeview TV, free WiFi, friendly staff, nice shared areas (lounge, lounge with bar, dining room), room clean on arrival. The negatives - the carpet didn't appear to get hoovered during our stay, no fresh fruit at breakfast (grapefruit segments or prunes could be ordered but on the day I did this, the grapefruit arrived at the same time as the cooked breakfast). Lacked the finishing touches that would have made it excellent for me, yet with just a little more effort these could have been easily achieved. Not sorry we stayed there but it could have been better.
