Beautiful quirky cottage well placed for a holiday in Ilfracombe. Beautifully decorated throughout, the beach hut dining room was fantastic! All the mod cons you need for a holiday. We really enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable and nautical themed lounge with a bottle of wine listening to Peter's very cool record collection! The local area is great, spoiled for places to eat, but visit Adele's at least once, the breakfast is spectacular. The moment you walk in, you know you're on holiday, already thinking about visiting again!

“Perfect Location”

According to the guest book in Fishermans' Cottage, we became the latest in a long line to completely fall under the spell of this lovely house in a beautiful town. The location, close to the harbour with easy parking was perfect. Fore Street has an almost bewildering range of restaurants and a couple of decent pubs that are directly opposite the cottage. Some world class beaches are within an easy drive of Ilfracombe. The dog was happy to scamper around the boats in the harbour at low tide but couldn't believe her luck when she first caught sight of Woolacombe Bay.
The cottage is quirky and the perfect base. We spent more time in it than we would ordinarily and would go back tomorrow if we could.

“excellent cottage”
Reviewed 10 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

me, my husband and 2 dogs arrived to a very friendly welcome, the cottage is on 3 floors, with large living room, is well equipped & loads of nik-naks and the nautical theme make it feel nice & homely. The cottage is situated very centrally on the oldest street with 2 pubs opposite, the George & Dragon does good pub food, breakfast in Adele's cafe is also a must!.
It is a good base to discover north Devon, south Devon is furthur away than you think, as we found out!, Woolacombe beach is excellent to run your dogs ragged so that you can enjoy a peaceful night in the many cosy Ilfracombe pubs

“home from home :)”
Reviewed 20 August 2012 for a stay in August 2012

Myself, the wife and kids had a wonderful time in Ilfracombe... we stayed at the loveley Fishermans cottage, we loved the location, literally right on the harbour. We felt at home from day one with the cottage`s comfort, we had plenty of room and even had a pub opposite when me and the dog could sneak of for a cheeky pint... Thanks for everyting peter, looking forward to returning next year
