Where do i start ! What a wonderful place to stay ! Everything practical had been thought of to help us enjoy our stay from a stairgate highchair comfy beds lovely welcome basket even a washing machine ! Great to get home without bags of washing to do to finishing touches like iow mugs and teatowels and lovely soft blankets were a great supprise after a windy morning on the ferry lovely and cosy but also bright and cool on the hot days. we arrived and let ourselfves in at 10 only to realise we were not supposed to be there until 2 ! Ian and dianne were as supprised as us when the found us and the children already in the chalet but they were very kind and couldnt do enough for us what lovely people ! We all had a brilliant stay and didnt want to leave we will definately be back to make more lovely memories xx

“So peaceful and stress free”
Reviewed 28 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We have just returned from a week at Sandown Bay Isle of Wight. We stayed at 106 Fossils Reach Chalet. We were put off by chalet holidays about 10 years ago on the Isle of Wight. Damp, dark and smelly but this chalet has renewed our faith in this kind of accommodation. The Chalet was very bright and cheerful. We loved the seaside theme. The free wifi was a bonus. The beds were very comfortable even the adult size bunk beds. I am 6'1. Very welcoming after a days long walk. Our favorite walk was from the Holiday centre to Sandown bay and along to Shanklin bay, promenade all the way. No need for a car there is good bus service on the Island. Ian and Diane the owners were very welcoming. we had no problems with the Chalet but I am sure they would have helped us out if we did. The end of a perfect week. I do not normally write reviews but I felt I had to this time.

Thank you Ray, for this lovely review - actually we were a bit choked! It's nice to be appreciated, and we're pleased that you enjoyed our part of the Island too. Also thanks for taking such good care of the chalet, we would welcome you back at any time.
