We have just returned from a week at Sandown Bay Isle of Wight. We stayed at 106 Fossils Reach Chalet. We were put off by chalet holidays about 10 years ago on the Isle of Wight. Damp, dark and smelly but this chalet has renewed our faith in this kind of accommodation. The Chalet was very bright and cheerful. We loved the seaside theme. The free wifi was a bonus. The beds were very comfortable even the adult size bunk beds. I am 6'1. Very welcoming after a days long walk. Our favorite walk was from the Holiday centre to Sandown bay and along to Shanklin bay, promenade all the way. No need for a car there is good bus service on the Island. Ian and Diane the owners were very welcoming. we had no problems with the Chalet but I am sure they would have helped us out if we did. The end of a perfect week. I do not normally write reviews but I felt I had to this time.
