I guess I should have read the reviews first....Life gets in the way sometimes, which puts us all here some of us with the same story only told in different ways. So, we ask ourselves do we keep posting the same story over and over or take some action and hold Greyhound responsible for their inhuman behavior upon customers.

I could add more fuel to the already lit fire, in theses reviews, with my own experience just a week ago, I have never witnessed anything so cruel, how do you just drop a bus load of people off (all various races) in the middle of nowhere, Bus Station was closed, bus had already been delayed 7 hours prior, the nearest hotel was 15 mins away, (more like 30 mins in a uber) yes cost was a very big factor, but I don't want to lose sight of the bigger picture of people spending the night out in the Cold because they couldn't afford no place to go, children of all ages, young adults too old adults.

Greyhound is no longer owned like a Mom & Pop travel, it's all politics $$$$ and who has the biggest pockets, Greyhound was sold off to some sharing company Twenty Lake Holding LLC, who then sold it to the highest bidder a German name 'Andre Schwammlein, I don't know who this man is, guaranteed his family NOT SLEEPING OUTSIDE, because the people that keep taking the CRUEL INHUMAN BUS RIDES ARE PAYING FOR HIS FAMILY TO HAVE A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP.

Now let's just think about that for a min....how deep does that sit in, to know that we all have problems, situations that we are dealing with in life, that does not mean that people are allowed to take advantage of it. Maybe there was a time when, we could fly first class or business, things happen in life. GREYHOUND YOU DO NOT GET THE RIGHT TO TREAT PEOPLE UNFAIR IN ALREADY UNFAIR SITUATIONS. PERIODT!!!!

An 'unforgettable' trip from Washington DC to NY in August with a 4 hrs delay. No communication for 2hrs about what is going on or where the bus is. As a result, the bus arrived after 1:30 a.m midnight to NY where there was no chance to commute as the last train was gone. The only option was to take an Uber for 75$ as an extra cost. Based on their own declaration on the website they are to pay back the ticket fee after a 3hrs delay, but they have refused to do so. Terrible bullsh**t mail sent saying that finally they managed to provide the service. Use other bus companies instead of them or trains.

Bus didn't show up. Dispatcher doesn't have a way to reach driver. Greyhound staff doesn't know where bus stop is. They gave me 3 addresses to try. I took Ubers costing me over a hundred bucks when the bus ticket was $25. After missing my bus again and again I was told that it's my own fault for being at the wrong stop, I was blamed for, I was left without cash for food, a dead cellphone, stranded in a city where I didn't know anybody. I swear by God's name and on the life of my dearest family I will never ride another Greyhound until the day my body becomes ashes. On top of all that they refused to refund me. It's cool, they can keep their dirty money and go f themselves.

I don’t normally write reviews but I had to bring this to someone’s attention.
I’ve been traveling with greyhound for few years (not on a regular basis) and it’s always something. if it’s not smelling then it’s something else. I bought tickets recently (a week in advance) for NY - Buffalo and i also paid for my seat 2A. The day before my trip I received an email stating that there were changes to my trip itinerary. Come to find out that my seat was changed from 2A to 10C and no one I contacted could give me a proper reason why it was changed when I paid for it and also said that they could not have done anything to change it. I did receive a voucher refund for seat price but what if I don’t want to use their services anymore? I was told they usually change to accommodate for pregnant women, disabled, etc and that I could use the voucher to change for a seat at the front. How am I certain they won’t change it again??? Why not label the seat as such on site and not make it available for people who do not fit the criteria? I’m usually not the type to get upset easily but that is just plain unacceptable. Should’ve called and asked if I want to give up my seat which is a hell no because I paid to be seated in 2 A not 10C.
When I got on the bus I made sure to check who’s sitting in the seat and noticed it was a young woman like myself. Do better!!!
