NEVER TAKING THIS BUS TRIP EVER AGAIN! Please read reviews before booking! The bus broke down in the road! And we all had to get out and load another bus in the middle of a busy high trafficked area- very unsafe. The drivers were rude , unprofessional and really couldn’t give an f about you - so entitled. The rest stops , are loaded with suspicious people and very un sanitary. The security system on these buses are not ideal and should be reviewed. This bus should be shut down and they need a more professional way of making travellers feel comfortable and taken care of. Way longer than it needs to be…
Drove an hour to drop a friend off to catch bus. He calls me and says the bus never showed. They wont refund his ticket of $315. He spent the night outside because the business where bus stop is closes at 10. He had no where to go to the bathroom. The next bus isnt for about 30 more hours. I went and picked him up and he was severely sunburned, he sat outside in 105 degree weather with no sleep. Greyhound refused a refund or to help him with hotel. Now i have to drive him back at 1am and i doubt the bus shows up. Its bait and switch. You pay for one ticket but they give you another. They do not care if you die. They wont tell me why the bus never showed. They kept hanging up on me. He wanted to just get a refund and fly they said there was a $200 cancelation fee. Highway Robbery, im sure illegal. Lets get a class action suit and get out money back. Ive had to pay for gas twice and be late for work.
My assigned seat had absolutely no leg room (to the point where I couldn’t sit there) because the seat in front was pushed back all the way, so the driver told me to just find another open seat. The overhead lighting didn’t work, so I couldn’t turn it on to see at all during the second half of my ride (NYC to DC). We left Port Authority about 10 minutes later than scheduled (for no apparent reason). Driver stopped once at a rest stop and told people to be back on the bus within 10 minutes, then proceeded to wait an additional 30 minutes before leaving. The route and stops were not made clear when purchasing tickets or when boarding, so there was another unexpected stop about 15 minutes away from the final destination. Several people had to get off, but the bus driver also stopped excessively long here. Upon arriving at Union Station, he didn’t know where to go in, went in the wrong place, and had to drive out and back in again to get to the right place. We weren’t allowed off the bus (despite being about a minute walk away from the correct stop), so this detour added another 10 minutes to the end of our ride. Overall, we arrived about an hour later than we could have (making the trip 5+ hours, when it could’ve been just over 4). Doesn’t make a late-night arrival any easier to deal with.
This bus never showed up in Houston hilcroft location This bus was supposed to pick us up at 6.55 am never showed up, me and among other customers, we got left out in the side if the road, I still can't get my refund, they told my credit card company that this trip was canceled by me, I'm still trying and fighting for my refund, they are nothing but scammed running this business, please, please don't take this bus line, that is other bus lines, other alternatives, I took omni bus line that it was located next to the supposed greyhound bus stop, OMNI, BUS LINE WAS EXELENT,greyhound needs to go away
How can a driver leave and leave half the bus behind???? What kind of professionals do you work for? ... and now how am I going to get my documents, clothes and everything back? I'm on vacation, I don't live here... all my documents were left on the bus...
I've traveled the world, and the title for the worst service has to go to Greyhound USA. I wish one day they get stronger competitors
