The Cranleigh Boutique had been recommended to me by my Daughter & Son-in-Law.
A lovely boutique hotel which on approaching looks like a guest house.
Once inside the ambience clearly differentiates The Cranleigh from many hotels in Bowness-on-Windermere.
Each bedroom has its own unique decor. We had a Superior room (No2) and whilst it was not huge, the views overlooking trees and the Belsfield hotel were lovely.
The room is quite bling and maybe not to everyone’s taste, personally I liked it and the en suite shower room had lovely mood lighting.
Breakfast at The Cranleigh was okay but I felt it may have benefitted from fresh fruit. The restaurant staff were okay but they did seem to be running off a script.
The reception staff were lovely, especially Chloe who was very attentive.
I booked ahead of time benefitting from a small discount but they do offer deals on FB if you watch out for them.
Would rebook again as prices comparable to other nicer hotels in area.
