“A jewel on the outskirts of the Potteries”

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Old Bakehouse at Camp Hill. Plenty of character and very cosy. The place has been lovingly restored by the attentive owners who are respectful of the history of the house. Although there is only one bedroom, the double sofa bed in the sitting area comfortably accommodates an extra guest. The absence of a washing machine might be an issue for longer stays.

“A hideaway adjacent to a historical home in beautiful countryside.”

We thoroughly enjoyed this little two-story apartment in a restored former Bakehouse. The staircase between floors was frightening to a woman in her late 70s who is somewhat unsteady on her feet, but managed it with care. Decor was cheery, kitchen well equipped and adjacent grounds great for walking. We loved our week there, visited a lovely garden, shopped farm stores, enjoyed a nearby inn and pub and found it a delightful home away from our US home on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington.

“Cosy hide away with secret gardens.”

We stayed at The Old Bakehouse over the New Year period and had the most wonderful time. The cottage itself is quirky and comfortable but the true wonder of this place are the grounds of which it is set; just magical! All this and so close to two great town centres, you can choose to hide away as we did or explore the local cities with ease.
