We stayed here at Christmas, our first time away from Essex at Christmas. We love Bude and this house was brilliant. Great rooms, comfortable beds and a lovely kitchen. Lots of lovely little touches such as Christmas tree and decorations, scones and cream on arrival...lovely location in addition a short distance from crooklets.
Not a bad word to say...totally recommend it.
I think we were the original 'pre-market' guests and since then The Beach Haven has gone from strength to strength. Tim & Maria go out of their way to welcome guests and treat them to a Cornish Experience with cream tea on arrival. 2016 has seen further enhancements to their holiday rental which offers every amenity a family could want including fast internet, a vast DVD collection, outdoor dining facility and chiminea. Best of all for those who won't be separated, they welcome dogs and will even provide a dog sitting service for you!
But don't just take my word for it, the reviews from those who have stayed more recently on The Beach Haven's website and Facebook page say it all.
We were welcomed with a cake and bottle of wine! 10 of us, 6 adults, 3 children and a dog found the accommodation extremely spacious and very well furnished. Since there were a couple of days of torrential rain, we were totally homebound and thats when we made good use of very well equipped kitchen and lounge with various entertainment facilities, including a superb collection of audio cd's. Tim and Maria were fantastic, gave us great tips - best fish and chips in Padstow (not Rick Steins!). They even dog sat our pet Zorro for us!!.
