I stayed for one night at The White House whilst fulfilling a business commitment locally. It is not until you are allocated a room with the name Johnson or Kennedy that the "penny drops" regarding the significance of the establishment name.

I was made to feel very welcome on arrival. The room I stayed in (Johnson) was spacious, warm and welcoming. It was a cold night and an extra heater, with which the room was equipped, was used to good effect. Although on the main Lymington Road there was no noticeable road noise. The en-suite was spacious with a shower - but slightly chilly as there was no heating in that area. Crisp sheets and a comfortable bed as well as a very comfortable leather sofa lent a hint of luxury. The breakfast (08.00 to 09.00) was ordered the evening before and could be tailored to individual choice. Lots of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice and a pot of fresh coffee complemented the choice of a continental or a cooked English breakfast. The breakfast room was light and airy and the tables were well spaced so one didn't feel one was intruding on other guests space or thoughts! All in all a pleasant and private overnight stop for me.

Wonderful B&B. Felt very welcome and looked after. Breakfast was brilliant. Beds super comfy. Nice clean bathrooom. I had an amazingly powerful shower and my dads room had a very luxurious bathroom. Rooms were tastefully decorated. Tea and coffee in room with biscuits too! Location was excellent. Highcliffe is a really nice little town. It was really ideal for us to see my Nanny. We had a excellent walk on the cliffs and down to the beach too.

This is an older small hotell. It is not so far from the beach. It is in walking distance.
The rooms are very small. Breakfast is served in an nice room. Rooms with wiew to the streats can be a little noicy.

Room Tip: Rooms are placed one floor up

Room very small, locked cupboards everywhere, TV faulty, ran out of hot water twice in two days, at breakfast plates taken away while my wife was still eating, poorly maintained, grubby if you looked.
    Would not stay there again.

A pleasant Bed and Breakfast establishment.
All rooms are named after USA Presidents - we had Lincoln.
Good room, excellent shower room. With a window on two sides of the room we were easily able to control the temperature during a short heatwave.
    Breakfast was very good.
    Car parking available.
A short easy walk to the Cliff top walk, and shops/restaurants nearby.

Room Tip: On a main road, rooms at the rear are probably the quietest.
