“Thoroughly recommend this perfect cottage”
Reviewed 10 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Situated near to the border, a great spot to get away from it all and visit places in either northern or southern Ireland. Ian met us on arrival and was so welcoming and helpful. Cottage was rural and extremely peaceful. Everything we could have wanted was available and the underfloor heating made it warm and comfortable. There was constant hot water and a peat burning fire in the living room made it so cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and the entire cottage was tastefully decorated. Only stayed three nights, however visited many small towns and lakes nearby. My perfect kind of holiday, with great hosts who know how to keep their guests happy. Elaine was always quick to reply to texts or emails and nothing seemed too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone who wants a bit of peace, quiet and comfort. Superb!

“Wonderful”
Reviewed 14 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Only stayed for 2 nights wish it could have been longer. Weather was awful so didn't leave the cottage just chilled out for some much needed R and R after my knee operation. Everything was perfect and it is obvious that Elaine and Ian have put a lot of time and effort into the renovations. Hope to come back next year for longer and get out to enjoy the area

“Beautiful cottage in beautiful countryside”
Reviewed 13 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We stayed at the cottage while visiting friends and family in Derrylin, it was perfect for our needs.
Above all it was clean, comfortable and warm with plenty of room for 4 adults; the owners make a great effort to make you feel welcome and everything worked the way it was supposed to. The surrounding countryside, all fields, woods and lakes, was breathtaking. We came home so relaxed and feeling we had visited somewhere a long long way from the city!
We hope to return very soon.
