Excellent venue for family weekend. The family were able to enjoy the swimming pool and other leisure facilities. The reception and restaurant staff were particularly helpful in catering for the needs of a coeliac child.

Attended and stayed in Hotel the Night before, so could be refreshed for all day conference.

Plenty of parking, although signage a bit confusing as to where to go after that. Loads of vehicles near signs, which had tendancy blocking. Could high up signs help? Night - Downside, car park quite dark in areas. Otherwise good.

Reception staff very welcoming, room amazing, beds extremely comfortable. Showsr over bath. Not too bad. Decor ok.

Had dinner, also not bad, quite expesive and salty for my taste. Named chef endorsed. However eaten better elsewhere to be honest. Sorry to say breakfast promised loads, plenty choices for sure, but hot breakfast was bit dry and over heated (kept hot too long taste and texture). For the cost, cooked to order option would have been lovely.

Venue is huge. Many conferences, rooms and floors.

Overall great experience, although food quality lets down. For cost (£52.00 eve 3 courses. Breakfast £19.00 added to room fee. Wouldnt put me off coming again. Maybe other dishes would be better.

Booked this hotel last minute for a overnight getaway and we wasn’t disappointed!

On arrival we were impressed with how modern and stylish the hotel was, and the friendly reception staff got us checked in quickly.

Our room was a superior double and was very modern, clean and comfortable. Very comfortable beds and a nice big tv, although not many channels available which was a shame. The bathroom was very nice with big showers. We didn’t have a great view, but as we were only there for the night, this wasn’t a issue.

The hotel has 2 nice modern bars that serve food and drink and a Marco Pierre White restaurant. We didn’t have a evening meal, but we did have a morning breakfast buffet and it was very nice.

The spa facilities are great, the pool, starlit steam room, jacuzzi and sauna were great and we didn’t want to leave!

Overall we really enjoyed our night away here and would definitely recommend and return!

in room info and web said kids in pool until 7pm - turn up at 6pm and not allowed in due to “health and safety” (excuse 1) members only time (excuse 2 contradicting the stuff in room) and did you not get a bit of paper at check in (arghhh!) very upset 6yr old and no sort of apology from leisure club. Speak to reception and they say it now run externally so nothing they can do. So finally get the pool area modernised and now its out of hotels control and even when we did get into pool in morning had a couple of hours of baby/child swim lessons with the loudest swim teacher on the plannet... not good.
