We stopped by for lunch and had a Buddha bowl, tea, blueberry and vanilla latte, parsnip soup and strawberry and cinnamon cake. Food was lovely and interesting, something a little different! Was especially impressed with my delisious blue/purple latte, never had anything like it! Only fault that I can find is that when we first came in it was all full as there isn't a lot of seating available so we had to come back a bit later and luckily there was a table free. Thank you for providing great vegan options, highlight of our trip to Buxton.

So glad you enjoyed your visit and one of our new flavoured lattes. We do get busy at times and booking is often a good idea to book. Safe journey home today

With both of my children being dairy intolerant the sight of a cafe advertising vegan (and vegetarian) food is something that catches our eye. Often in a cafe the kids might have a choice of a few things, but not much. To be able to say to them “you can eat whatever you want in here” is a rare thing, and they almost didn’t believe us. Eldest had a gingerbread man and youngest had an Anzac biscuit, safe to say they didn’t last long. Mrs had vegan chocolate cake and I had the mince and marzipan loaf, both were exceptional.
My wife often avoids dairy in drinks where possible, but the big chains charge a premium for “speciality milks” (bit harsh I feel if people have dairy allergy!) so had an oat milk latte. I had a normal dairy chai latte and the kids both had a raspberry milkshake made with almond milk. All drinks were excellent!
The owners were super friendly and welcoming, and even moved some tables together for us to sit together.
I expected the bill to be around £25, but instead was around £15!
Would fully recommend visiting this place if you’re anywhere near Buxton, especially if you’re a vegan/vegetarian/dairy free!

Thank you for your review, it was lovely to meet you and your lovely children. So glad we were a special part of your visit to Buxton. I agree entirely with you that is not fair to charge extra for plant based milks and think this should be changed across the board. PleAse call in again if you are ever back in Buxton

We found this by accident roaming around Buxton, had an outside table as the inside was packed. We ordered a veggie breakfast, you get the basic version and then add extra bits, so we added the lot, and we also had a dahl.
The brekkie was amazing, love the scrambled tofu, never had that before, and will definitely have it again. Dahl was also very good, nicely spiced and with loads of extra ingredients to make it super tasty. We had home made lattes, ginger for me and turmeric for my partner, again both excellent. Owners was fantastically friendly, and the bill when it came was miniscule. Love this place.

visited twice for lunch during our holiday, and bought the frozen meals to have at home each time too. delicious food and friendly place. sad to leave such delicious food behind now we return home, especially the pear crumble and the pies! It was great to have a tasty and wholesome quick meal back at our accommodation, especially as we have 2 small children and not enough time or motivation to cook from scratch some days! Might have to return to stock up!!
