This B&B deserves the 5 star ratings. The guest rooms are large and immaculately equipped. Both rooms look out over the river Shannon and the boat moorings. The gardens slope gently down to the lochside with seating for sun lovers and river watchers as well as bbq facilities. Secure parking is available to the front of the main entrance.
The full Irish breakfast is brilliant and enough to fill you for the rest of the day.
The Station House is less than five minutes walk from the town of Killaloe via the bridge over the Shannon with restaurants, boutiques, Ponte Vecchio coffee shop and the cathedral.

We stayed here recently for a night as we were doing the Gin cruise, we didn't realise when booking just how close it was to the dock at Flanagans. Definetly a plus if that's why you're in Killaloe. As for the accommodation the house and grounds are beautiful, we had the upstairs room (room 2), with the private en-suite. Super comfy bed and lovely views. The breakfast options were great for meat eaters or veggies. With full Irish available as well as smoked salmon, fresh homemade bread, eggs cooked to order, yoghurt, berries, granola. To name but a few.

I would definetly stay here again and couldn't more highly recommended.

The Killaloestation House offers fantastic views from every window overlooking the heritage town of Killaloe. Brid was an excellent hostess and was very welcoming. The accommodation itself was a beautifully restored Station House which had the old railway lines running behind the house.
The station house has something for everyone. If one was so inclined ...fishing off the private pier, swimming, walking, site seeing, historical sites or perhaps a coffee and some lunch in the many restaurants. What more can I say the Killaloe station house has it all the best location, history and class !!

Cannot rate this B&B highly enough, we stayed here for 1 night as we were attending a wedding in the Lakeside Hotel. It is so close to the hotel so perfect for anyone attending an event in the hotel.
We stayed in Room 1 which has the most beautiful view of the river & the boathouse on the property. The bed is the most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept in, very clean, walk in wardrobe, and large ensuite with a walk in shower.
Stunning property, fabulous breakfast and I will definitely definitely stay here again!!
