Cannot talk to the rooms as only ate in the hotel. We arrived for bar lunch just as was closing..but there was no problem and full menu available. Staff friendly and helpful food is fairly basic ie Steak Pie Fish etc but portions good well presented and good value. The bar and dining area are very comfortable and have fantastic views over the Clyde and a nice outside area if the weather kind. In the winter a log fire and I would imagine very cosy. For a day out you will do a lot worse than come here for a nice meal ...far better than could be found in nearby Dunoon.
