Love taking walks in this lovely park in the oldest town recorded in England. It's vast grounds offer a variety of terrain with a nice water way running through it.
Will return to this park when I next visit Colchester.

Well worth a visit, free to go, lots of room for kids to run around and gardens superbly maintained. At the moment a lovely memorial for 100th anniversary for WW1 - a must to see if you are in the area, in the heart of the shopping district so no need for extra transport to visit.
