“Perfect Relaxing Holiday Rental”

This cottage is fabulous!
(though some may think it "difficult" to get to due to it's one track lanes, that's why the views are so stunning).

First of all, the owner was fantastic, greeting us on arrival (which was a day later due to us attending a family wedding) and showing us around the whole property answering questions and making us feel very welcome. Towels are provided and the washing machine makes it easy for you to rinse those through and pop out to dry if needs be.

You have everything you need for a cosy happy stay here with quick, easy access to all the local places of interest. Mini local Co-op a few minutes away by car and larger superstore a longer drive away but still pretty easy to get to.

The cottage is equipped with all the modern comforts of home, well maintained and cared for and very clean!

We took this week in order to completely relax and because we had two teenagers with us we simply went for brief afternoons out then returned home to make our own meals. Thee cottage had all the amenities to accommodate our use of it in this way including cooking utensils dishes etc. dishwasher too!

The views from the conservatory are stunning and uplifting - better in person than any photograph can show!

Two things to note are:

1.The stairs here are plentiful with stone flights down from the car parking space to the cottage entrance and also very steep and shallow staircase once inside the cottage to the first floor bedrooms. The owner makes a point of noting this on the description therefore it did not come as any kind of surprise and was not an issue for our family.

2. The bathroom is on the ground floor - again, not a problem for us but some may not like the idea of having to come down the shallow steps in the night. We took the liberty of keeping a lamp on downstairs in case one of us needed to visit the loo in the night.

We would happily return to this rental and this area for another relaxing break.

Top class accommodation. Good value for money. One of the best properties we have stayed in. Clean, cosy, warm, well-equipped, good location for exploring Llandudno and Snowdonia.Great directions and welcome from the owner. It really is a fantastic holiday home. The owner has clearly put a lot of thought into it, e.g. books, games, DVDS, radio, lots of little tables and cosy lamps, blankets for each chair and couch downstairs, heater and binoculars in the conservatory, pictures on the walls of the area and the lovely garden is like a little tropical paradise. he view is just like on the photos. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. It feels like a lot of love, care and effort has been put into the property. Attention to detail and it is clear that smokers and pets have not ruined this property! Can't fault it. Highly recommend it.

Places visited and highly recommended:

- Snowdon Mountain Railway – amazing - top of the world!
- Pass of Llanberis
- Swallow Falls
- Betws-y-coed
- Angel Bay, Little Orme – see the seals (pups between Sept and Jan)
- St Trillo Chapel – Rhos on Sea – smallest chapel
- Great Orme by cable car and tram – excellent views of Puffin Island and Anglesey
- Marine Drive (around the Great Orme by car)
- Toboggan run and dry ski-slope at top of Great Orme
- Llandudno pier and town shops (look out for Alice in Wonderland statues)
- Conwy – the castle and smallest house in Britain, the harbour and quayside
