Lots of green space, a nice cafe and playground for the children. Also a short walk from here (down past the sports pitches) to the small beach area adjacent to Wolffs gate. Here there were lots of locals with children playing in the sand and splashing in Damsgardsundet. Some older teens and adults also jumping off the harbor sides into the water. We spent an enjoyable few hours here, making the most of the fantastic weather.

This park has been renovated. An enormous amount of effort and care into this charming park. Grand trees give it a real feel of calm. Excellent play area for children and a coffee cafe. A gem.

You’ll find enormous trees, quiet ponds, swans, ducks and even herons, if you’re lucky. Good for a walk, a beautiful steep hill in the middle. Fountains, sculpture and a tiny cafe on the upper level, by the University. The park is old and beautiful.
Definitely worth a visit!
