I often map my jogs through this park located in the city center, but i have to say I do not feel so safe after dark here

A large park, with a fountain and walking paths. I was surprised at all the flowers. You'll walk through or past it if you're going to the mall or main station. Because it's so big, it was never that crowded. Don't miss it.

Came across by accident, but pleased I did, fantastic fountains, lovely flower beds and very tranquil place to sit and relax whilst exploring Bergen.

Nygardsparken is well worth seeing.
It's only a ten minute walk from the city centre. Here, you can find peace on any mild day. You may even bring a picnic basket along, or maybe a volleyball.
A favourite spot for students and families on hot summer days.

Maybe the park is nice however when we visited it a big part of it was under construction. The rest of it? Well, it's green (obviously) with some nice statues and medicore fountains. Good place to kill time when needed, otherwise quite boring.
